Want to spend Valentine's Day with Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif? Head to Oman

Nearly two months after Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan jived together at a lavish Bollywood musical in Dubai, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif will back it up with a possibly more spectacular show on February 13.

Speaking exclusively to Emirates 24|7, a source close to Katrina Kaif confirmed that the two will be performing in Muscat.

“Yes, she will be performing with Shah Rukh Khan in Oman on February 13. The show will also have performances by actress Preity Zinta and Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar,” revealed the source.

Apart from the fact that the two will shake-a-leg together, it’s interesting to note that the show is scheduled on the eve of Valentine’s Day.

Although media reports suggested that the show organisers were vying for the V-day, the actors might’ve objected considering they are aware of its implications.

And, surely Katrina is aware of how much a certain Khan (Salman Khan), and should we say Kapoor (Ranbir Kapoor), can tolerate.

SRK and Katrina did share stage at a couple of awards functions for few minutes last year but this will be the first event where the two stars will share the stage for an exclusive performance.

Event organisers in Dubai tried their best to bring in the two stars together for a performance in December but could not manage to get a confirmation.

Javed Noor from Essar Events had earlier confirmed to Emirates 24|7 saying, "We are waiting for a date confirmation from both Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif for an event in Dubai".

Now that the two will be performing in Muscat, looks like they have skipped Dubai and picked Oman instead.

Even as the performance is slotted on the eve of Valentine’s Day, speculations are doing the rounds about whether the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ pair might stay back in Oman and spend V-Day in the capital.

The Katrina-SRK bond has grown since their pairing in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, and has come under the scanner because of SRK’s fiery relationship with Kat’s “ex-lover” Salman Khan.

It is common knowledge that one-time friends SRK and Salman don’t see eye-to-eye.

Even, Salman’s decision to pair up with SRK’s alleged “lover” Priyanka Chopra for the Dubai show was reported to be his way of getting back at SRK for serenading his “ex-lover” on-screen in the Yash Chopra romantic film.

While Salman and Priyanka scorched the stage in Dubai, there’s no doubt that the SRK-Katrina performance will create sparks as well.
