Weekend Movies: Guide to plan your movie calendar

With the alien-chasing Will Smith back in action, it’s going to be a one-sided affair at the cinemas this weekend, with the pretty bunch of preggers restricted to the back-bench, well… almost.

But if the critics are to be consulted, Will’s latest adventure back in time as Agent J, in an effort to save the life of his partner Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones), isn’t any great shakes. Bad publicity, however, has never deterred the loyal ‘Men In Black’ fans from marking their attendance at the movie hall. ‘MIB’ will remain a hot favourite this weekend.

And, hopefully, for the rest of us non-MIB fans, there might be a need for ‘Neuralyzers’ to wipe out our memory if we ever watch the latest and the third instalment of ‘MIB’.

As far as our next pick is concerned, it’s going to be favoured by the ladies, by virtue of it being a woman-centric topic. ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’, an off-shoot of the book of the same title, is sure to create a lot of buzz among the women. With A-listers like Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez leading the bumpy gang, this one, if nothing else, will guarantee a favourable, fun viewing.

Mickey Rourke’s ‘The Courier’ and Liam Neeson’s ‘Afterlife’ might appear good on paper, but we aren’t entirely sure if he merits a trip to the movies.

'What to expect when you’re expecting'
