The ‘Eid in Dubai’ events line-up has just heated up even further with the addition of Lebanese singing sensation Wael Kfoury, who will take to the stage on November 7, along with Elissa, at The Ritz Carlton DIFC.

Kfoury, however, will replace famed Saudi singer Rabeh Saqr who was slated to perform on the day.

However, Najwa Karam’s addition to the Eid concert schedule for a November 9 performance will go far in appeasing many fans.

The other big line-up change in the events schedule sees the cancellations of the Emaar Boulevard festivities, which included the celebration of Emirati culture, Min Bladi Al Emarat.

The Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE), which is presenting this gala line-up, sent out a tweet last night, saying: “We regret to inform you that informed that Min Bladi Al Emarat at Emaar Boulevard is cancelled due to logistical issues.”

No further information was available at the time. However, the organisers are confident that such a schedule change will no way take away from the ‘exciting calendar of events for the Eid Al Adha edition of Eid in Dubai’.

Starting from the first day of festivities, visitors can expect an array of entertainment activities including mega concerts, fireworks, and international character shows.

Being organised for the fourth consecutive year, the event aims at promoting Dubai as a festive destination during celebrations through various entertainment events to highlight Dubai’s unique manner of celebrating this special occasion.

Ibrahim Saleh, Festivals Coordinator General and Deputy CEO of DEPE, said: “Into its fourth year, Eid in Dubai has succeeded in making Eid Al Adha a unique celebration for residents and visitors in Dubai.

“This city proudly boasts of over 200 nationalities and Eid in Dubai is a platform for diverse cultures to interact and celebrate.” So what are the main events, you ask? 'Emirates 24|7' brings you all the details.
