A new weekly outdoor cinema event is set to take to the screen every Tuesday evening from 8pm in Dubai’s Lakes villa community.
Reform Social & Grill in The Lakes are launching their brand new film nights, the F&B outlet announced in a media statement.
For those not in the know, this will be the second outdoor cinema in Dubai, with the Pyramids F&B at Dubai’s WAFI Mall offering a free screening every Sunday from 8.30pm on giant beanbags at the Rooftop Gardens.
There are different movie screenings, free of charge, every Sunday in WAFI, while at Reform Social & Grill, movies will be grouped by genre and will change on a monthly basis but screened every Tuesday.
“Each week, Reform Social & Grill’s garden area overlooking the lake transforms into an outdoor cinema haven, complete with beanbags and comfy lounge furniture. Homemade popcorn and hot dogs will be on sale, providing that authentic cinematic experience,” the outlet said.
February kicks off with a month of British Classics including The Full Monty and Gregory’s Girl. Other exciting genres to look out for throughout the year include James Bond month, a selection of the best of Hugh Grant films, classic Comedies including Dumb and Dumber and Ghostbusters, and Musicals including Grease and Singin’ in the Rain.
The outlet noted that films are free to view but customers must purchase food or drink.
In addition, an open-air cinema (not free), is set to open at Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) community later this month, as part of a large mall, the Beach at JBR.
