With each passing day Bollywood actress Jiah Khan's suicide case is witnessing shocking revelations.

After Jiah's six page note that was made public by her mother Rabiya Khan and Aditya Pancholi's son Suraj Pancholi was arrested on charges of abetting suicide, a new revealation has been made by her mother.

In an interview to an Indian tabloid, Rabiya Khan said that Salman Khan tried to persuade Suraj Pancholi to get out of the relationship with Jiah Khan.

She also said that Suraj's father Aditya Pancholi was livid when he heard about his son's affair with Jiah and sought Salman's help in the matter.

"I know he (Aditya Pancholi) threw a fit when he came to know about his son's relationship with my daughter. He even told Salman Khan about it, who tried to talk Sooraj out of it," the tabloid quoted Rabiya.

But she clarified that when Suraj told the actor that he loved Jiah, Salman understood his sentiments and was fine about it.

Salman Khan's production house will be launching Suraj in a remake of 'Hero' and Suraj was also an assistant director in Salman's 'Ek Tha Tiger'.

Jiah's mother also alleged that Sooraj's behaviour changed after he signed his debut film with Salman's production house.

With changing circumstances, it is yet to be seen whether Salman will still launch Sooraj or will he rethink on his decision.

But as of now, for no reason Salman Khan's name is being dragged in Jiah Khan suicide episode.

Jiah, who made her debut starring opposite acting legend Amitabh Bachchan, was found dead in an apparent suicide on June 3.

The 25-year-old's parents found a suicide note in her wallet which reports said contained details of her troubled relationship with Pancholi.

Jiah, born in New York before moving to London and then Mumbai, made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with the controversial film "Nishabd" (No words), playing a teenager in love with her best friend's much older father, played by Bachchan.

The movie won attention because of its provocative storyline and Jiah was praised for her bold acting.

Jiah, who changed her name from Nafisa Khan, went on to star alongside actor Aamir Khan in "Ghajini", a box-office hit.

India's film industry reacted with shock and sadness to her death, with superstar Aamir Khan saying he was "deeply pained".
