It is a known fact that Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan were once the closest of buddies and more like siblings as they themselves admitted on multiple platforms.
But then cinema makes strange bedfellows.
After a phase in his career that included movies with mindless entertainment from Main Hoon Na to Happy New Year, Shah Rukh Khan seems to have grown up and is doing more of sensible cinema. His choice of films from Fan to Dear Zindagi clearly elucidate the maturing of the actor.
That certainly means that his old buddy Farah Khan who makes films with a high level of entertainment quotient but low level of sensibilities may be off his priority list off the moment, which has directors like Imtiaz Ali, Aanand L Rai and Gauri Shinde in it.
SRK is almost going the Aamir Khan way, like how even Salman Khan is. Salman has also stopped doing mindless films and has been concentrating his career on filmmakers like Kabir Khan and Ali abbas Zafar rather than choosing his brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan or even his brother in law Atul Agnihotri.
Looking at how Salman’s career has grown in the past few years thanks to wiser decisions from the pint sized Pocket Hercules, SRK too has taken a leaf out of Salman’s book.
Well, that means that Farah will need to wait or choose other actors like she did in the disaster called Tees Maar Khan.
