When adult actress turned Bollywood actress, Sunny Leone was told by director Dilip Mehta that he would be making documentary on her called Mostly Sunny, the actress was more than enthusiastic. For someone who had emerged from the adult industry and reach where she is - a sought after star and actress in the Hindi movie industry with whom big stars like Aamir Khan hobnob, with whom Shah Rukh Khan is keen to work to promote his film better - this could not have been any better.
For those who tuned in late, Dilip Mehta is the brother of acclaimed filmmaker Deepa Mehta. Deepa had also called up many of Sunny's producers and asked them for footage of their films. Pooja Bhatt who produced and directed Jism 2, refused because she did not want to have anything to do with Sunny after the two fell out during the making of the film.
And like Pooja, even Dilip Mehta fell out with Sunny during the making of their film specially after Sunny wanted a lot of negative things being talked about her removed from the film. But then Dilip and Deepa refused because after all, the film was a documentary and not a eulogy.
When posed with a question recently, Sunny skipped giving an answer as well.
