The wait for Salman Khan’s fan in India to watch his new action-drama 'Jai Ho' got a bit longer.
The last time Salman Khan came to Dubai to premiere his movie 'Ready' there was near stampede situation.
The 'Dabangg' Khan will be back in the emirates for the world premiere of his movie 'Jai Ho' on January 22.
Parvez Khan, Chairman of Pacific Ventures, the sponsors of the event and co-producer, told Emirates 24|7 that Salman will be joined by co-star Daisy Shah, Tabu at the red carpet of Dubai’s Meydan imax.
“Salman along with other actors Tabu and Danny Denzongpa will attend the premier,” he said.
Khan will also attend a press conference and interact with the media before heading for the premiere.
The movie, which is directed by Salman's brother Sohail Khan, is also a comeback for actors like Aditya Pancholi and Tulip Joshi.
Salman will launch newbie Daisy Shah and ex-Bigg Boss contestant Sana Khan with 'Jai Ho'.
2013 has been a dry year for Salman Khan in terms of movies but fans expect him to break all previous box office records with the latest offering.
Produced by Eros International and Sohail Khan Productionz, 'Jai Ho', was shot extensively in Dubai.
Sohail Khan shot a fight scene in Dubai's Wonderland theme and water Park. As there was a requirement for an amusement park in the scene it turned out to be a perfect location for the director.
120 crew members were flown from Mumbai to start the first schedule of the film which took place at the Saif Belhasa Driving Institute.
'Jai Ho' is the story of an upright common man who fights a solitary war against corruption and injustice. The film, a remake of Telugu film 'Stalin', will see Salman reprise the role of an angry young man.
Salman is confident his upcoming film 'Jai Ho' will be the biggest blockbuster ever and it should be noted that he is promoting the movie with the “aam aadmi” (common man) tagline.
He is representing the might of a common man in his upcoming film.
Though the previous Aamir Khan starrer blockbuster, 'Dhoom 3', tickets sold for over Rs900 in India, the media there has reported that Salman has told the theatres owners to ensure that ticket prices did not skyrocket.
Though trade pundits believe Salman Khan needs no promotional gimmick for his movie, the actor has attended every television reality show and whirlwind city tours.
Salman Khan was sorely missed on the silver screen last year but he is back, and he is all set to kick-start 2014 in style.
Just like every other film of his, we hope Salman will be delivering a blockbuster with 'Jai Ho' as well.
