Naseeruddin Shah 'Einstein'

Celebrated actor Naseeruddin Shah will soon grace the UAE theatres where he will essay the role of the famous scientist in the play, 'Einstein'.

Penned by Gabriel Emanuel, and directed by Shah, the play will introduce audience to a different side of the scientist, with Shah taking his audience on an intellectual and entertaining ride across the various features of Einstein’s life rarely explored.

An offering of the prestigious Indian theatre group Motley Productions, the English-language play will make its international debut in the UAE this January from 28 to 30.

Circus of all ages

Great Moscow State Circus on Verdansky Prospect, Russia, for the first time ever presents in Dubai its new production – 'UFO: Circus From Another Planet'.

Starring at the event will be the the show's producers, representatives of the legendary circus dynasty, the Zapashny Brothers, whose groundbreaking international circus project, 'UFO: Circus From Another Planet', will be held in Dubai under the support of the Consulate-General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates from February 10 to February 13, 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

This spellbinding array of tricks and technical skill is soon to arrive in Dubai, as the circus will be packing 80 tons of equipment, huge light displays, and a flying saucer under the roof 14 meters diameter of the Dubai World Trade Centre for their dazzling show.

Emirates Lit Fest:

The eighth Emirates Airline festival of literature will be the first and biggest literature and reading orientated event of the Year of Reading.

The event will be held from March 1-12 at the Dubai International Writers' Centre and the InterContinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City.

This will be the longest literary Festival conducted in the Middle East with more than 150 authors confirmed to attend the festival in March.
