It looks like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra's stylists are exchanging notes.

How else will you explain this 'board-room-black-suit' fashion avatar of all these divas? In the same week?

Black can be beautiful and can be boring as well.

So who wore it best - Aishwarya, Kareena or Priyanka?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

The fact that Aishwarya Rai came to meet the media in a black suit on her birthday was a little odd.

One is supposed to celebrate and look pretty; not that Ash looked otherwise, but the board meeting look is not meant for birthdays.

India's fashion police were not too harsh on her big day.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stepped out of her house to greet the media and do a little cake cutting in an all-black suit with matching black camis.

She let her hair stay simple and loose and painted her lips red to round off her look.

Her Cavalli pants and the shoes seemed a bit mismatched, but the former Miss World was as beautiful as ever.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan could offer Aishwarya a lesson or two on how to put a black suit look together.

Kareena attended a talk session on the last day of the Mint Luxury Conference in Mumbai looking business-like in a custom-made Ashish N Soni three-piece suit.

The mix of masculine and feminine characteristics in her look made it a perfect combination for the occasion. The lack of shirt added the feminine appeal.

The actress stayed true to the theme of the conference and kept her hair and make-up minimal. No accessories what-so-ever.

Her Zara pumps worked fine for the business look.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra, the style quotient of Bollywood, travelled to Los Angeles.

The former Miss World attended Equality Now's 'Make Equality Reality' event in a complete Gucci ensemble.

She posed for the waiting photographers wearing a velvet tuxedo jacket with a different fabric pants and finished her look with Gucci accessories.

Styled by Ami Patel, Priyanka tied her hair in a pony and her make-up was muted.

She looked elegant and her shirtless cleavage did not really matter.
