Dh1.4m up for grabs this Eid Al Adha

Feeling the pinch? A Dubai government body wants to help you celebrate Eid in style.

The Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment is giving away Dh1.4 million during its Eid in Dubai event.

The annual event is one of the many shopping promotions in the emirate, and will run for four days to coincide with next month’s Eid Al Adha festival. Malls across Dubai taking part in the promotion will give away Eidyat Dubai raffle coupons on purchase of Dh200.

Twenty-eight winners will each walk away with Dh50,000 in cash, the DEPE said in a statement, describing the move is an attempt to give consumers an incentive to shop.

A social initiative aimed at reviving the true Islamic values and Emarati traditions of Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha celebrations, Eid in Dubai was first launched by the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment in 2008.
