DSF: Enter whimsical ‘Wonderland’ at Deira & Mirdif City Centre

This Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), visiting Deira & Mirdif City Centre will take children on a whimsical journey down the rabbit hole, and into the fantasy world of ‘Alice in Wonderland’. For the first time in the region, Alice and her peculiar friends including The ‘Mad’ Hatter, The Cheshire Cat and the Queen of Hearts will bring their Tea Party to City Centre malls, with interactive musical stage shows that will capture the hearts and imaginations of children. The fairytale continues as Deira & Mirdif City Centre are also giving shoppers the opportunity to visit their own ‘wonderland’ with the chance to win a trip of their choice, anywhere in the world.

The journey to Wonderland starts on January 9th– 18that Mirdif City Centre as Alice in Wonderland’s Tea Party takes the stage for 10 days of music, dance and endless fun with three, 20-minute shows daily. The Central Galleria will transform into a fairy tale-like setting, befit for even the Queen of Hearts, as Alice and her band of friends stumble across adventure at their tea party. Following 10 days of ‘Hatter Madness’ at Mirdif City Centre, Alice in Wonderland’s adventures will travel to Deira City Centre from January 21st-30th for 10 more days at the West Court, with two shows daily and additional interactive elements such as character Meet & Greets, themed Arts & Crafts and Games. Finally, a number of lucky children will be special guests at an exclusive Tea Party, complete with sing-a-long shows, games and treats for kids and parents.

During DSF, Visitors will be in a Wonderland of their own with value-added sales at more than 835-plus stores across Deira & Mirdif City Centre. Plus, with any minimum spend of AED 300 at any store, shoppers can make their dream trip come true with the chance to win the Grand Prize of a trip to any destination of choice – anywhere in the world.

Throughout DSF at Deira & Mirdif City Centre, special interactive screens will be set-up throughout the malls inviting visitors to experience the real ‘Wonderland’. Using the latest in sensory image motion technology, visitors can step into magical wonderland fantasy and journey through an interactive game for the chance to win AED 1,000 daily. Similarly, the malls’ Facebook pages will utilize webcam technology to create a wonderland fairy tale-like game for the chance to win AED 5,000.

In lieu of the upcoming festive season and DSF, Deira City Centre and Mirdif City Centre will be open until 1:00am daily, with participating restaurants and cafés open until 3:00am.
