Mohammed attends finance committee meeting

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the 13th meeting of the UAE Ministerial Committee for Finance and Economy, held at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi. 

The meeting took place in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Finance Minister; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy; Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; and Yunis Haji, Director-General of the Ministry of Finance.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed in detail on the committee's work and updated on a number of topics on its agenda. Among the topics that came up for discussion were the federation's general budget and financial position for 2010 and expected revenues for the same period, in addition to recommendations put forward by the Ministry of Finance concerning government revenues up to 2014.
