15 shops damaged in Umm Ramool fire

Four warehouses, stocking automobile spare parts, and two cars were damaged in a fire that broke out on Tuesday morning.

In their statement, Civil Defence said the "fire accident in Umm Ramool industrial area started at 5.58am. It was put out at 8.44am."

They reported that "15 shops and stores selling spare parts, two cars and 4 rooms of workers" were damaged in the fire.

"There are no injuries," they added.

Firefighters from Al Rashidiya, Al Ghusais, Al Quoz, Port Saeed and Al Karama worked to douse the fire.
