2 brothers, son plunge to death in well

A Saudi man, his brother and his five-year-old son died after plunging into a deep well which was not covered, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Sunday.

Civil defence men spent several hours digging into the collapsing well and removed the three bodies, the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’ said.

It said the three were talking near a farm in the northern Saudi town of Umluj when they fell into the well on Thursday night.

American falls to death from Saudi hotel

An American man died after falling off the third floor in a Saudi hotel where he was staying, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Friday.

The man died instantly when landed on his head after the fall from his room in the hotel in the northwestern Saudi town of Tabuk, ‘Sabq’ Arabic language daily said.

The paper did not identify the victim and said it would provide more details later.
