2 million use Dubai Metro in 3 days

Dubai Metro has transported 1,195,724 passengers during the first three days of Eid Al Adha, according to  a Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) official.

The first day of the festival was the busiest, with 416,142 passing through the turnstiles at Metro stations. The second day saw 384, 867 and the number rose to 394, 715 on day three.

According to a report in Arabic daily Al Bayan, Burj Khalifa and Mall of the Emirates were the busiest stations during Eid.
Metro timings were extended till 3am for the Eid holidays.

Timings between trains were also reduced to ensure faster passenger commutes and connections.
