5-year-old girl drowns in RAK hotel pool

A Palestinian child, aged five, drowned in a hotel swimming pool in Ras Al Khaimah, ‘Emarat Al Youm’ reports.

Director of Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, Dr. Joseph, said that the emergency department, yesterday morning, received a girl aged five who had drowned in the pool.

Doctors tried to revive her but could not.

Sources quoted by the EAY report, said the girl and her family were staying in the hotel when she fell in the pool.

This is the case is the third case of its kind in the emirate, following the death of two children who also drowned in hotel pools.
