China firm gives 16,000 staff a UAE vacation

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has posted on his Twitter page that a Chinese company rewarded 16,000 of its employees with a vacation in the United Arab Emirates. The company will charter 77 flights and book 40 hotels and over 400 tourist guides.

In what is considered to be one of the biggest vacations organized by a company for its staff in history and the biggest group tourist to visit Dubai, the staff from the Nu Skin company will start arriving from next Sunday and until the 16 of April.

40 of Dubai’s hotels will host the world record’s Chinese group tourist in addition to a fleet of buses to serve their transport.

The company will begin transferring its staff in seven batches, 2000 tourist each, starting from Sunday until April 16. The company’s offices represented in the trip are from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. According to Chinese media, the trip costs millions of Dollars.

The company has booked 39,514 rooms in 40 hotels and 409 tourist guides. According to officials the company also booked the “Ferrari World” nightclub for three days, and dinner parties on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi for 8,000 people.

The tour also includes cultural sites in Sharjah.
