Chinese falls to death from Sharjah building

A Chinese national, YAA, aged 45, has died as a result of falling from a residential building located in Sharjah Industrial Zone (17).

Responding to an emergency call received by the Sharjah Police operations room, a police team rushed to the site and found the body of the deceased on the ground.

The Prosecutor General has ordered forensics to determine the cause of death. Meanwhile, in a separate case, Sharjah police continue to investigate the case of attempted suicide by a Nepalese citizen.

The man’s friend called the police after they found him lying near a scaffolding in the industrial zone.

A CID team rushed to the scene and found ABP, a Nepalese national, aged 49, lying on the ground with serious injuries.

Initial reports showed he had fallen from a height.

The patient was transferred to Al Qassimi Hospital for necessary treatment.

Investigations are still underway to determine the circumstances and conditions of the incident, and the reasons that may have prompted the worker to attempt suicide.
