Derek Ramsay is now ‘Felix Bakat’

You may now call him ‘Felix Bakat’.

Yes, fans have given Derek Ramsay that moniker, owing to his muscle display under his skintight costumes in ‘Kidlat’ (Lightning), TV5’s latest action-drama series.

But he has no complaints about being called ‘Felix Bakat’ every time he is seen in Spandex, although he says the costumes (he has four sets as a superhero in the show) can get hot on his skin.

Gals and gays alike love watching him in the TV series, where even his co-star Ritz Asul has been enjoying feeling his muscles, particularly his abs, which the young actress describes as “hard”.

Ramsay finds Asul very young, however, and says that her admiration of him is just that—admiration. He describes her as very young and very sweet, and that he knows she does not think of any malice every time they shoot an intimate scene. He says he’s just like a ‘kuya’ (big brother) to Asul.

Ramsay, who has undergone training in various aspects of martial arts, is very kind and helpful to his co-stars on the set.

Baron Geisler, for instance, with whom Ramsay plays archenemies on TV, looks up to him for guidance.

Off-screen, the two actors are buddies. Their co-actors and friends have been witness to their bromance, saying that the latter listens to the former, who is a sports buff and know a lot of things about leading a healthy life.
