Dubai Courts unveiled its latest smart service ‘Intikal’ that will provide notary public services to customers at home.
Currently, residents have to go to a notary public centre in Dubai.
Dubai Courts is keen to raise the happiness index of customers, by simplifying and accelerating litigation services, said Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, Director General of Dubai Courts.
The new ‘Intikal’ service allows customers to complete their transactions from anywhere in Dubai with a notary officer come to the customer’s house or office, anywhere in Dubai.
To register for the ‘Intikal’ service, customers should visit the Notary Public branch in Al Twar or Al Barsha; or by sending an email to: Barsha.MobNot@dc.gov.ae.
The email should include, in detail, the customer’s address and telephone number.
Officers doing the home visits will operate in morning and evening shifts.
The fee for the ‘Intikal’ service is Dh1,000 per transaction, in addition to the transaction fee.
For seniors, widows or those with disabilities, the fee will be Dh100, in addition to the transaction fee.
The new initiative entails comprehensive notary public services, including testifying of documents and contracts of different kinds, declarations, partnerships, sales, signature authentication and other related notary matters.
The initiative is aimed at integrating smart government services and Dubai Courts’ efforts to achieve highest satisfaction rates in government performance, and to simplify services across Dubai, said Al Matroushi.
“We are keen in Dubai Courts to serve the customer at his home or office. We always remain up-to-date with technical developments taking place in the world to achieve the vision of leadership in the smart government transition,” he said.
This service comes at a time when the majority of Dubai Courts services are available through smart channels, round the clock.
Customers can now follow-up their transactions on smart devices, without taking the trouble to come to the courts.
