1 dies, 1 seriously hurt in Dubai accidents

One man died and another was wounded in two road accidents over the weekend in Dubai.

Major-General Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Director- General of Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, said that the death happened when a car hit a road barrier.

The incident took place on Friday morning. The Mercedes car involved in the accident was badly damaged. The driver of the vehicle died on the spot.

 The second accident happened on Thursday morning at the Aweer roundabout. The driver of the Toyota pickup suffered serious injuries.
