1st Emirati woman wins ARAC position
Amina Ahmed Mohammed, Director of Dubai Accreditation Department (DAC) has won the position of Deputy Chairman of Arab Accreditation Cooperation (ARAC), and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of Arab Accreditation.
The election took place in Tunis earlier this month, making Amina Ahmed Mohammed the first Emirati woman to assume a leading position with the international accreditation organisation.
Amina Ahmed Mohammed said that her winning the position reflects the confidence of the member states in UAE's experience, both locally and regionally, as the country has become number one among GCC countries to obtain international recognition.
