2-day Human Resources Conference opens in Dubai
Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, today inaugurated the 12th edition of Human Resources Conference, which is being held under his patronage and organised by the Arab Society for Human Resource Management at the Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai.
The two-day conference is aimed to highlight the role of human resources management in the optimum utilisation of human capital and focus on the importance and the need to invest in human resources, the promotion of human resource management's job and designing special strategies of human resources and helping companies and institutions in the development of its human resources through dialogue sessions, workshops, and lectures by experts in the field of human resources management.
The conference launched with a welcoming speech delivered by Abdul Al Hadi bin Ahmad Al Mansour, President of the Arab Society for Human Resource Management, in which he discussed the development of human resource management and the challenges faced in the Arab region in general and the Gulf states in particular.
In conclusion, Sheikh Majid received a commemorative gift from Abdul Al Hadi in recognition for his attendance and his sponsorship of the conference.
