Two Arab women aged 24 and 25 years pinched 14 ladies bags and a large quantity of accessories from 11 shops in Abu Dhabi before they were caught by the police.

Police sent detectives to watch shops in various parts of the town centre following reports by many of them that they had been stolen.

The operation paid off a few days later, when the two unnamed women were caught red handed trying to steal a bag and some accessories from one shop.

The two, found to be staying illegally in the UAE, confessed to robbing 14 women’s bags and a large amount of accessories from 11 shops.

They told police that they waited for the shop to get busy before striking, adding that they targeted only shops without security cameras.
