3 try to rape European at Abu Dhabi hotel

Three Gulf men are facing charges of trying to rape a European woman inside the bathroom at a hotel in Abu Dhabi after beating up her boyfriend.

The woman told court that she was with her friend at the hotel when the three attacked them and beat up her friend.

They then forced her into a bathroom and tried to rape her.

Police arrested the three men and blood tests showed they had alcohol and drugs, according to the Arabic language daily Al Khaleej.

“The woman told court that the three ripped off her clothes, kissed her and tried to rape her but that they could not after she resisted and screamed,” the paper said, adding that the trial of the unnamed defendants was adjourned to March 23.
