3-year old survives fall from moving car in Al Ain

A three-year-old Emirati boy escaped with slight injury after he opened the door and fell out of the car while his father was driving in the eastern oasis town of Al Ain, the Arabic language daily Alkhaleej reported on Saturday.

The Emirati man was driving on the busy Diwan street in Al Ain when his son opened the door and fell off, prompting other drivers to put brakes and veer off the road in a bid to avert hitting the boy, the paper said.

“The driver who was behind that vehicle was caught off guard by the falling boy but he managed to reduce his speed and avoid knocking him over..…the boy was taken to hospital where he received treatment for light bruises on the forehead before he was discharged.”
