Abandoned car owners get notices

Abu Dhabi City Municipality has served 264 warnings to owners of vehicles abandoned in public parking and open areas for extended periods of time.

The extensive campaign, which is organised by Al Bateen Municipal Center, covered south and east sectors of the Abu Dhabi city.

This exercise is aimed at removing elements that distorts the general appearance of the city.

It is also intended to raise awareness about the importance of keeping cars cleaned and avoiding the practice of leaving vehicles in public parking and open areas for extended periods of time.

This drive depicts the commitment of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport to improve general outlook, enhance safety and security, and reduce pollution.
