Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) has approved 68 educational projects and initiatives presented by Adec's schools in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Gharbeyya.
Dr. Mugheer Al Khalili, Adec's Director-General, confirmed the participation of Adec in the academic and educational awards especially Khalifa Educational Award which enhances innovation among employees in the educational field.
He highlighted that the award in its current session reinforces innovation, educational creativity and team work in our schools through competitions that aim at creativity among teachers and administrators and encouraging them to apply such ideas in the field Mohammad Salim Al Thahiri, Executive Director of Operations Sector at Adec lauded that role of Khalifa Educational Award in the educational field and the importance of positive competition among the workers in the educational field in order to be in line with the needs of Abu Dhabi vision 2030 .
Workshops were organised to familiarize the participants with the skills needed to prepare their initiatives and projects for the award. He added that the projects included many categories such as educational projects category where 12 projects were short listed of which 10 from Abu Dhabi and two from Al Gharbeyya.
This is in addition to educational initiatives from schools, creative teacher, technical teacher, action educational research and the new categories of the award.
