Offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have closed early because of the bad weather conditions.
In a circular to its employees, Landmark Group asked their employees to leave work at 1.45pm. “In view of the bad weather we are experiencing today and the resulting traffic jams and flooding, the management has decided to allow the staff in all Landmark group offices in the UAE and our warehouses to leave early today at 1.45pm.”
The company was working on providing office transport to leave at 2pm, and urged employees to carpool.
“Please leave the office premises only after checking the road conditions to ensure your safety,” it added.
In Abu Dhabi, twofour54 offices will remain closed.
“Due to the extreme weather conditions and the expected storm front arriving around 5pm, twofour54 will be closing its offices today, with immediate effect.
“As we are currently experiencing heavy rain storms, we kindly ask you to keep all doors, windows and balconies tightly locked. In case of emergencies or any issues faced, please contact out FM team, copied in this email,” the message said.
