Abu Dhabi forms school principals committee

Abu Dhabi Education Council has formed a committee of school principals to ensure effective communication between the emirate’s school community and Adec.

Dr. Abdullah Jaber, Principal of Al-Jazirah Sports Academy was selected as Committee Chairman, Ahmad Al-Harthi, Principal of the Capital School was selected as Vice-Chairman.

The committee also included the following members: Saeeda Hassan Al-Hammadi, Principal of Hafsa Bint Sirene; Safiya Mohammad Hassan, Principal of Al-Afaq Model School; Alyaa Saif Al-Rumaith, Principal of Al-Thiqa Model School; Fatma Ahmad Abdullah, Principal of Abu Dhabi Kindergarten; Mohammad Abdullah Al-Hammadi, Principal of Al-Bayraq School; Moza Saif Al-Mansoori, Principal of Al-Khamael Model School; Moza Ali Al-Marar, Principal of Um Ghafa Kindergarten; and Noora Jumaa Al-Dhafri, Principal of Al-Naeem Secondary School.

Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al-Khaili, Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council, also issued a decree to designating Dr. Alaaeldin Ali, Adec's Knowledge Division Management Division Manager as a coordinator.

The committee will have access to Adec's plans, programmes and decisions in order to have an active role in improving cooperation and coordination between Adec and school community to achieve the desired outcomes.

The committee is entitled to form sub-committees to distribute the role among its members. The committee shall also cooperate and coordinate with Adec's Research Unit in preparing studies and researches regarding all educational issues to make sure that all problems are being solved properly.

The committee reviewed curriculum-related issues, such as aims and goals, training programmes, assessment and reporting techniques, recommendations and feedbacks.
