After super cars, Dubai Police rev it up with a super boat
After adding a host of super cars to their fleet, the Dubai Police is all set to unveil the fastest-ever boat on the waters.
Yes, their new acquisition for the waters is touted to be the “fastest police boat in the GCC”.
The majestic boat was polished and dusted before it was showcased at the 22nd Dubai International Boat Show, which officially kicked off on Tuesday at the Dubai International Marine Club - Mina Seyahi.
The markers of the boat, Victory Team, tout it as the “Lamborghini of the waters”.
Talking exclusively to Emirates24|7, Ragesh Elayadeth, team manager of Victory Team, informed that the boat “can cover 90 miles per hour”.
Although the Dubai Police has numerous boats, this will be the fastest, he added.
“The Dubai Police has the fastest vehicles on the road and on air, but had nothing on water. Hence the decision to make something so spectacular and fast,” he explained.
“Dubai has huge coastal land and this boat will play an important role in protection.”
He informed that the boat is a 31-seater and 10-meters long, and is part of the “X-cat sports series”.
Ragesh, however, did not reveal the cost of the boat.
A Dubai Police official also informed that the boat show will unveil two more super-sleek, black boats for their SWAT team.
The Dubai Police super car fleets so far includes the Bugatti Veyron, McLaren MP4-12C, Ferrari FF, a Lamborghini, an Aston Martin One-77, Bentley Continental GT and Mercedes SLS.
The Dubai International Boat show promises to be a spectacular show of power, style and luxury on the waters and the impressive fleet of yachts and boats will be on display until March 8.
