Ajman bus fares to Sharjah hiked by 33%

Ajman Public Transport Corporation (APTC) has hiked bus fares from Ajman to Sharjah. It is Dh4 now instead of Dh3 -- an increase 33 per cent, said 'Al Ittihad' newspaper.

An APTC official said the body is running buses to link the suburbs and avenues of the emirate in addition to buses to transport passengers between Ajman and Sharjah to facilitate the movement of low-income people.

He added APTC is running buses between Ajman and Sharjah with a capacity of up to 28 passengers.

He added that APTC is going to have new vans with a capacity of 14 passengers to transfer passengers between the districts of the city, in addition to the 12-seater seven vans within Ajman and Sharjah.
