Ajman Police cancels impounding of cars on International Day for Happiness

Ajman Police, on the occasion of International Happiness Day, have cancelled the impounding of cars for traffic violations until 31st March, on condition owners pay their traffic fines.

The move comes in appreciation happiness as an international value that people from all over the world can aspire to.

The Ajman Police General Command held activities to celebrate International Day for Happiness, with the participation of its employees and customers from all its departments.

Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, said, "Happiness is one of the main requirements for ensuring happy lives for people. It motivates us to work harder with a dedication."

He added that the work of the Ajman Police General Command centred around upgrading the level of customer satisfaction, noting that this has been so far achieved through positive interaction between the staff and public.

The activities of the International Happiness Day celebrations included the hosting of a traditional breakfast for the command’s employees in its main building, and entertainment activities at the Penal and Correctional Institution for employees and inmates.
