Asian killed while crossing road in Fujeriah

An Indian man died after he was knocked over by a car while crossing the road in Fujeirah, newspapers reported on Friday.

They quoted police in the eastern emirate as saying the man used the wrong crossing to talk over to the other side on Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah when he was hit.

Police said they could not blame the driver as he was within the speed limits when the accident took place on Thursday.
