Baby run over by car driven by relative

An 18-month-old boy was crushed to death by a car driven by his relatives inside their house in the eastern oasis town of Al Ain.

The driver was about to move his car back for parking inside the house when he noticed the boy playing just behind the vehicle.

“He carried the boy and put him inside the house…he returned to the car and started moving it back, not noticing the boy had sneaked out and went behind the car again,” the Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said.
