Car on fire at Dubai's Al Wasl Road

A car on Al Wasl Road is on fire, report eyewitnesses at the scene.

The fire was reported at around 1pm on Sunday afternoon.

"The car is burning down completely," said a passer-by.

The car caught fire on al Wasl Road, near the ongoing construction work for Dubai Canal, in the direction of Sharjah.

The car was parked on the service lane and no traffic congestion has been reported.
