Car rams into empty petrol tanker in RAK

A car rammed into an empty petrol tanker at a roundabout in Ras Al Khaimah and police said a disaster could have happened if the tanker was loaded.

Police rushed to the accident scene in Muairid area after receiving reports that a car crashed into the petrol tanker on Monday night.

The accident resulted in damage to both vehicles while both drivers escaped unhurt, the Arabic language daily Al Khaleej said.
