Case of child found dead in school bus: Abu Dhabi court reserves for ruling on Feb. 8

The Abu Dhabi Misdemeanour Court on Sunday reserved for ruling on February 8 session the case of kindergarten child who was found dead in the school bus.

The court heard the pleas of the defence of the accused, stating that their clients- the employee in charge of students' list, the school principal and the owner of the transport company, were innocent, and demanded their acquittal from the charges against them.

All the five accused appeared before the court. The father of the victim and media representatives were also present.

The case dates back to the discovery of the child by the bus driver lying behind the exit door of the bus at the end of the school day, according to the investigations of the  public prosecutor. It demanded slapping of maximum punishment against the accused.
