Ajman Police has arrested two Arab nationals for alleged robbery.
 
The Criminal Investigation Department of Ajman Police confiscated cash and goods worth about Dh44,000 from the duo, which they allegedly stole from various houses.
 
Colonel Abdullah Saif Al Matrooshi, Director, CID Department, Ajman Police, said, the cops acted on a tip-off they received from a European, who complained that unknown persons had entered his apartment and stole his wallet comprising credit cards and Dh1,500 cash.
 
Upon arresting one of the suspects, he led them to the other suspect.
 
The duo confessed to stealing goods and cash worth about Dh42,000 from six other places in Ajman.
 
They have been transferred to public prosecution.
 
Col. Matrooshi  called upon residents to take caution and keep money and valuable safely.
