A Saudi child refused to go to school after the loss of his favorite football club and his father sent a letter to the school manager supporting his son.

The school in the central town of Buraidah had sent a form to the father to fill it after it noticed his son in the fourth primary class was absent from class.

“I would like to inform you that my son did not go to school because of the loss of his favorite club Al Hilal (against Al Nasr)……..he was worried that his class mates may scoff at him for this loss,” his father said in a letter to the school management, published in local newspapers and social networks.

“I would like to thank you for your concern…but you should know that you are not more concerned about my son than I.”
