Conference addresses bullying phenomenon in Ras Al Khaimah

The Centre of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development has organised in cooperation with the community police department in Ras Al Khaimah a conference for students on the topic of "Student Bullying".

The move aims to empower the social role of the ministry to further enhance the societal partnership with the local organisations.

The conference, attended by 125 students from Ras Al khaimah Educational Zone, aims to curb violence in the society, especially among the students. It also emphasises the negative effects for such a phenomenon on the educational environment.

The speaker, Major Mohammed Saeed of the Community Police department, has touched on the reasons for such a violent behavior, including the unstable family situation, video games that can affect children and students' personalities, pushing them to imitate what they see and apply it on their fellow students or family members.
