Motorists are facing pockets of traffic on their Tuesday morning commute, with congestion reported on Al Safa Bridge, connecting onto Hadeeqa Road, around 8.15am.

The morning drive on the connecting Al Wasl Road is also busier than usual, with traffic slow moving in both directions of the Emirates NBD junction around 8am.

Further down, Dubai-bound commuters from Sharjah are also facing slow moving traffic on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road; although no reason for the traffic build has been reported at this time.

Motorists bound for Kalba are still facing delays an hour after a crash was reported on Maliha Road by eyewitnesses, before the Emirates Road intersection around 7am.

Meanwhile, at 8.15am, Abu Dhabi Traffic authority have reported a two-car accident on Khaleej Al Arabi, outward bound, before Mohamed bin Khalifa Road. The right lane is blocked. Expect delays.

Motorists in Ruwais and the surrounding areas have also been warned of low visibility conditions by the UAE Met office, with the onset of mist and fog in the region.
