Cricket legend Steve Waugh visits Dubai school

Dubai British School was buzzing with excitement and anticipation as famous cricket personality Steve Waugh visited the school yesterday.

Steve Waugh, who became the legendary Australian test captain in 1999, boldly went on to lead Australia in 15 of their world-record 16 successive Test victories.

Steve, who has been visiting Abu Dhabi for an event this week, brought his daughter with him whose best friend from Australia now attends Dubai British School. Steve will be running two cricket sessions with primary and secondary pupils.  He will be offering his expertise to the pupils in school.
