'Crisis Cell' paves way for cars stuck in Al Suhub Rest Area

The Crisis Cell succeeded in record time, in paving a road for the movement of passing cars detained in Al Suhub Rest Area in Khorfakkan, as a result of the rockslides that affected the road due to rain, and cars began to descend slowly from the top of the rest area.
The Sharjah Police, the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, and a number of competent authorities have begun to deal with the partial rockslides that were exposed to the road to Al Suhub Rest Area in the city of Khorfakkan.

His Excellency Engineer Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police, and a number of officials attended the site to follow up on the rock removal process on the road.

The Sharjah Police had announced the temporary closure of the road leading to the rest area, as a result of the falling rocks, which has let to the closure of the street path, while the competent authorities immediately removed the rocky accumulations to open a side of the road, to facilitate visitors to leave the rest area.

The rockslide partially affected the road, without any human casualties, and the road was closed for the rest area until the situation was dealt with.
