Dh1,000 fine for not renewing Sharjah licence plates

The department of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing, Sharjah Police, have called on owners of car shops and auto parts outlets to renew their commercial plates before January 29, 2016.

Those who fail to renew their plates before the deadline will face a fine of Dh1,000, according to Major Mohammed Ahmed Al Mehrezi, Director, Department of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing, Sharjah Police.

Commercial plates are required to be renewed at the beginning of every New Year, he added.
