DHA, EAY and Etisalat MoU on blood donation

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA), represented by Dubai Blood Donation Center (DBDC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Etisalat and Emarat Al Youm, Arabic daily newspaper, on fruitful cooperation regarding patients requiring blood.

The memorandum was signed at the DHA stall in the Arab Heath Exhibition by Dr. Laila Al Shair, General Director of DBDC; Sami Al Reyami, Emarat Al Youm Editor-in-Chief and Ali Al Ahmad, Executive Head for Communications at Etisalat.

According to the MoU, Etisalat will help in making more blood available through  campaigns among its staff once every three months.

DBDC will provide a well-equipped mobile blood donation centre and enough staff to make the blood donation easier and faster. The Arabic Daily Emarat Al Youm will  carry encourage the public to donate and spread the blood donation culture in the community across the country.
