Summer travel deals are already up for grabs with Emirates announcing special fares to key gateway cities, including Mumbai, London and New York across the airline’s A380 superjumbos.
The Emirates sale, which runs until February 23, is offering special fares in Business and Economy Class fares from Dubai to 31 of its A380 destinations worldwide, including popular destinations such as Kuwait (Dh880), Mumbai (Dh980), London and Beijing (Dh2,380 each), Frankfurt (Dh2,890) or.
To avail the offer, residents need to travel between February 26 and July 14.
Local carrier flydubai has also announced a 72-hour sale, offering a 30 per cent discount on fares to eight destinations, which includes cities in the GCC, along with Moscow, Beirut and Alexandria on the lowest return fares in Economy Class.
Residents need to book before noon on Friday February 20 to fly between then and May 31, 2015. Fare for Kuwait is Dh417, while for Doha and Bahrain it is Dh428 and Dh468 respectively.
This offer is valid for return ‘pay to change’ economy flights to select destinations originating in Dubai and subject to availability.
Meanwhile, Sharjah-based budget carrier, Air Arabia, has also announced its 48 hour sale that ends Tuesday, allowing residents to bag deals for an early summer break with prices starting at Dh799 to Beirut.
Air Arabia is offering return deals for travel until May 31, with fares to key cities such as Amman, Colombo and Mumbai being retailed for Dh849.
Other popular Indian destinations include Goa for Dh949 and Bangalore and Chennai for Dh999. Deals are also on offer for Istanbul, Nairobi and Cairo, ranging between Dh899 and Dh999.
