Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) received trainees selected to join the special training programme launched as part of the National Day celebrations, reported 'Al Khaleej' newspaper.
The programme is part of the national initiative by DMI that aims to qualify 40 nationals in various technical fields related to media.
The ceremony was attended by executives and directors of various DMI offices and channels. Trainees were briefed on the content of the programme as well as the work environment and how to conduct themselves professionally.
Ali Khalifa Al Rumaithi, Executive Director for radio and television, DMI, welcomed the trainees. He stressed that the initiative launched by Ahmed Abdullah Al Shaikh, Managing Director, Director-General of DMI, aims to help Emaratis specialise in the media field as per market requirements.
