Driver fled after boy was hit by car in Kalba

A nine-year-old Emirati boy sustained moderate injuries when he was hit by car on Al Wahda Street in Kalba on Monday afternoon.

The woman driver, who fled the scene, was arrested later. She did not have a driving licence.

The boy was hit when he crossed the road at a place not marked for pedestrians.
